Wild Fair 2016

In June 2016 the Wild Fair event attracted over 7,500 people who joined us at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History. There was lots going on in Oxford during the day, including the Big Green Day Out and many visitors arrived on rickshaws who ferried people between the museum and Broad Street throughout the day.

Crocodiles of the World took over the lecture theatre and an amazed audience got to meet some of their residents up close. We were joined by wolves who graced the front lawn and sparked many questions about the possibilities of 're-wilding'. We transformed one corner of the lawn into a mini-meadow, we even had some sheep and a tractor! The day ended with a ceilidh from the musicians who had been keeping us entertained throughout the day and lots of people joined in for a dance!
